people get crazy when i pester them to tell me da names of only those movies and novels where thrs a nice ending……….well my definition to it would be tht at least hero heroine and thier family lives happily ever after… ……….

“thts a wrong perception…” – many say or ” life isn’t lke tht always….”!!!! well , maybe thts true but why cry over something not true….or why to watch or read something which makes u unhappy however nice literature or direction it may be…………..movies and novels r for entertainment n if u start crying at tht time..then whts da use………

hey hey hey….thts what i think…….. i’m not criticising nybody’s choice………..
recently i watched ” a beautiful mind ” ……………….. i hadnt watched tht movie in years coz of some frend who had only told me da first half of it n tht was kinda shockin………but a few days b4 when i came to knoe tht it had a happy ending….i dared to watch……n guess wht…..tht was da first time in my life when i was crying of happiness………i mean i hadnt seen nything tht beautiful or moving in a long time….

comin to novels………i like to read sweet romantic stuff + crime thrillers……………yeah but when it comes to da former…..i make sure tht the lead pair is alive till da end…..or at least dies together….. ………….

so thts me……all smiles and laughter…………n if u come across a movie or a novel which is depressing…..

then keep in mind …………..” picture/novel abhi baaki hai mere dost ……” ….

actually the only thing on my mind was the interaction with the facchas….. nothin else

on the day when they were due to come,me n my friends deliberately took a long route via main building where they were going to be gathered just to have a look at them…. i was ecstatic…….the feeling of being a senior was maddening…….

tht day in the evening we had our L.A. class and we somehow convinced our prof.. to let us go early….as half of us were “mentors”……. ….and we practically ran all our way to the guest house where their was orientation was going to be held………after tht arnd 8-10 of them were assigned to each of the mentor groups……..well,we were a bit dissapointed……as we wanted some other grp… …

nevertheless,we chucked our grp n joined other group under soni n raghavendra(dilli……sorry yaar)…..n had loads of fun durin their intro…….

the next day when we saw them just roaming arnd the college,we were simply shocked n tried to take their intro……. ……well, my friends told me to chill a bit n even seniors came to know tht i was in a mood to interact…..;)……

well, tht phase has got over now…….after the freshers….bt its a real fun having a chat with the juniors ……….. its like reliving ur 1st year when u hear the same complaints about the same profs and about the same subjects…….n everything ……………n the same boredom during jv experienced by them…..

lets see if our juniors live upto our expectations as we hope to work with them in the future….

I would always wonder what do the bloggers have in their minds tht they r not afraid to pour out their feelings to everyone…….

even i couldn’t resist being a part of them when i realized tht this is one of the best ideas to share yourself with the entire world…….there r times in ur life when u can’t say anything n everything to anyone……

So, i wondered what should i write about………..

1.my life in iiit where it all started……?

2.my friends?

3.my family?

so i settled on my college where i have learnt to live life in real sense…..out thr in school i was a book-worm….. n would never ever participate in nythin in my +2 in order to concentrate on my studies… …….

bt was determined to change once i entered a college…..n so have i….i seriously hope tht my friends agree on this….

i needed the change coz i think i had suppressed n hidden “the cheerful ankita” somewhere n so had lost a part of myself during those two years which i count as the nightmares of my life……..

coming back to college…well never expected that of all the places i would land at IIIT……

but found the atmosphere here completely different from the image in my mind of the “college life”(outta movies n friends n relatives ) so it came as a pleasant surprise to know that we actually had to call ur seniors “sir” n “mam”…… ……was completely freaked out during my first interaction thinking ragging was taking place …….got comfortable on the second day and actually started enjoying the interactions with the seniors the next day onwards………..:)

we came first in the freshers(Aakash Rocks!!!!! )….actually surprising our seniors …..

we became obsessed with our house..then started the neck to neck competion…. …..

our obsession with our house was less as compared to our obsession of our batch……

At that time the choir “ug1 rocks ” would fill the class rooms and workspace……(sometimes without any reason…hehe )……all those interhouse competions and interbatch competitions were maddening …would fill us with a spirit undefinable…..

can’t express my feelings when aakash won the cultural trophy n ug1 won the interbatch cricket tournament…. …i mean victory on both sides…

looking back to the first year…..there were times when we worked with our seniors and we were friends ..the time was felicity…….

i had always heard abt a coll fest..bt when it was being implemented and we were made an integral part of the workforce, tht was the time we realised the trust our seniors showed in us..(hats off to Varun fr tht)…..had it not been fr felicity our batch would never have been able to mend fences with the seniors…..

1st year is the time when u make relationships with people……n i m proud to say that i made some very good friends……………….. (sorry thr is a very long list so i m not going to name any of them…..)

all in all , i can say tht 1st year was the one of the most unforgettable periods of my life which taught me some of the most important lessons of life….resposibilty,independence,care,understanding…… to name a few but the most important of all it taught me the importance of family n friends in my life…….
